Save That Dance

On the Friday before Halloween my Grandparents host an annual weenie roast. The weenie roast is always a blast ... more about that on another post! :) BUT.... before the weenie roast my Grandmother insists on having her Christmas tree put up! So every year, in mid October, the faithful children,  grandchildren, in laws and even a few out laws head to the home of Evelyn and Bill Blanton to deck the halls!

One of the first things to happen is that we turn on the Christmas Carols and try to dig out our Christmas spirit. Blue Christmas by Elvis is always the one song that is saved until my auntie Marilyn and uncle Bob arrive. They weren't able to make the tree trimming this year so when the time comes near and I am decorating my own tree I will turn up the music.... and save the dance!

I popped over to say thanks for your lovely comment on my card and stumbled across this beautiful card of yours.. Your colour choices are stunning, I love Mos image but it's the lamp post that really grabbed my attention...you've inspired me to get back into the craft room and to get colouring
