Mother Nature

It officially became fall on September 23 but no one informed Mother Nature! She sent temperatures that mocked our official date and scoffed at our audacity to tell her when to arrive!

However, this weekend, as predicted she cooperated! It was a lovely weekend filled with sunshine, blue skies and leaves cascading from trees! Well, mostly pine needles falling from above like missiles and pine cones nose diving from 30 or 40 feet above aiming straight for the cars, the tin roofs, the black cats, and us! Thank you Mother Nature ... we appreciate your sense of humor! :)

I used a wood mounted stamp that I picked up a few years ago at a local craft store and colored the image with Copic markers.
